The Roanoke Rapids Yellow Jackets Varsity girls basketball team beat the Warren County Eagles 66-58 Friday night in Warrington to earn the 2A Northern Carolina Conference championship title.
This is Roanoke Rapids first girls conference for head coach Jim Whitmire and the first Lady Jackets in many years.
