Jaguars baseball fall at home

Northampton County Jaguars Varsity Loses Lead Early in Defeat

Northampton County Jaguars Varsity baseball team watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 26-2 loss to Hertford County on Friday. Hertford County scored on a double by Evan Lassiter, a stolen base by Chuck Lee, a stolen base by Cole Liverman, a stolen base, a stolen base by Jalen Evans, a stolen base by Gabriel Correa, and a stolen base by Kole Liverman in the first inning.

Hertford County took an early lead in the first inning. With zero outs in the first inning Evan Lassiter drove in one run when he doubled.

Jamonta Branch and Deion Jordan each collected one hit to lead Northampton County Jaguars Varsity. Northampton County Jaguars Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field. Josh Lashley had five chances in the field, the most on the team.

Hertford County had 19 hits in the game. Lassiter, Jalen Evans, Bradley Edwards, Gabriel Correa, Brooks, Tyrek Beverly, Vaughan, and Cole Liverman each collected multiple hits for Hertford County. Hertford County didn't commit a single error in the field. Chuck Lee had the most chances in the field with five. Hertford County tore up the base paths, as nine players stole at least two bases. Liverman led the way with four.
