Alton “Bud” Ray Heath, Jr. age 64, of Roanoke Rapids, NC, died Friday, March 10, 2017 at his residence.

“Bud” Was born in Washington, NC the son of the late Alton Ray Heath Sr. and Algeria Owens Heath. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, was a former employee of Halifax Paper Board Company in Roanoke Rapids, NC, and was an avid fan of the University of North Carolina Tarheels.
Surviving are: his wife Kathy Parrish Heath; a son Brandon Ray Heath and his wife Stephanie, of Roanoke Rapids. NC; a sister Pam Faison and her husband Gordon, of King, NC; a brother Steve D. Heath and his wife Annette, of Skippers, VA; a grandson, Easton Ray Heath of Roanoke Rapids, NC and two nieces, Morgan Worrell and her husband Koy of Gaston, NC, Hayley Heath of Skippers and two nephews, Chris Faison and Mike Faison, both of King, NC.
Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Wrenn Clarke & Hagan Funeral and Cremation Service, 1015 W. 5th Street, Roanoke Rapids, NC, Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at 2:00 PM, with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Crestview Memorial Cemetery with Military Rites. The family will receive at the funeral home for one hour prior to services.
