The Halifax Academy women's soccer team traveled to Crossroads Christian School in Henderson for their second conference match of the season.
The Lady Vikings won by a score of 7-0.
Whitney George had a hat trick (three goals) and an assist, Holly Forsht with 2 goals, Maddie Suiter with a goal and an assist and Abby George with a goal and an assist. Anna Garrett rounded out the scoring with a nice assist playing the ball out of the backfield.
Post match comments from Halifax head coach Tim George, "The girls played well again tonight and came away with the win by playing with good possession and teamwork. The defense posted it's first shutout in a while and is starting to really play well together. The offense, being led by Abby George, Maddie Suiter and Holly Forsht is starting to create more opportunities and finish the chances they are seeing. Holly had played well in the last 2 matches and is looking to score with more aggression. It was also nice to get Whitney back from an injury after several matches with some minutes as she was able to give us another dangerous threat up top."
Halifax has a few days off to recover before traveling to Faith Christian on Friday at 5pm.
