City/DrugCo Industrial basketball league donates basketballs to the Roanoke Rapids Parks and Recreation Department for the boys and girls.
League organizer Marty Jones stated, "I have been coaching in the Roanoke Valley since 1999 and felt this was a great opportunity to give back. All 6 teams agreed to donate basketballs with the extra money left over from the league entry fee. The 6 teams were sponsored by Drugco/HRMC, Pepsi-McPherson Beverage, Halifax Linen, Lowe's, Resers and Patch Rubber. I would like to thank all the teams for a great season. We look forward to doing it again next year."
