The Halifax Academy Vikings women's soccer team continues their winning ways with their 7th straight victory by winning over Ridgecroft School Monday by a score of 8-1.
"The girls came out with plenty of energy tonight and took control of the game very early." stated Vikings head coach Tim George. "This was a good way to finish going into spring break next week. All of the girls got to play a lot of minutes tonight and we mixed up the positions to let them have some fun," George added.
Normally a defender, Anna Garrett was able to earn her first goal of the season while playing striker along side the other seniors, Haley Eason, Jordan Strickland and Madison Owens. Rounding out the scoring along with Anna was Whitney George with a hat trick, Abby George with 2 and Holly Forsht and Maddie Suiter with a goal a piece.
The team's next match is a tough conference rival home match against The Oakwood School on Monday, April 24th at 5pm.
