Chaloner Middle school baseball team earned wins Monday and Tuesday.
Chaloner withstood a 3 run rally in the 6th inning Monday by Wyatt Middle to win 5 to 4.
Chaloner leading hitter was A. J. Strickland with 2 hits including a triple and 2 RBI's. Bennett Liverman had 2 singles. Colin Clements had a run producing single. Avery Johnson had pinch hit single.
Bennett Liverman and A.J. Strickland (pitching for CMS) gave up 5 hits in 7 innings. It was close, hard fought game by both sides.
Chaloner broke open a close game with a 7 hit and 8 run rally in the bottom of the 4th inning Tuesday against Halifax Academy.
Leading hitters for Chaloner were Colin Clements, Bennett Liverman, and Wade Jenkins with 2 hits and 2 RBI's a piece. A.J. Strickland had a 2 run triple. Hunt Van Dam and John Conner each had run producing single.
John Connor, Russell Moore, and Caleb Elias combined for a 1 hitter on the mound. Elias pitch the final 2 innings for the win.
