
The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is seeking the public’s assistance in solving a 2013 hit and run fatality.
Sergeant R.W. Goswick said the collision occurred on Bacon Road in the Littleton area around 9 p.m. on August 6.
Calvin Jefferson, 58, was on a bicycle when he was hit by a vehicle heading south. The collision occurred about a mile and a half from Highway 158.
The initial report indicated Jefferson was stationary on the bike when he was hit.
“Anyone who has information, please get in contact with us. We have no evidence to identify the particular vehicle,” he said.
