The Roanoke Rapids Warriors travel basketball team traveled to Clayton NC to participate in the Restoring A Generation Spring Invitational Basketball Tournament this past Saturday.
With wins of 53-47, 56-39, 0-0 in a 3rd game forfeit and 47-36 the Warriors would complete the day 4-0 and be crowned Tournament Champions.
Head coach Troy McNair stated,"It was a much improved effort from our last tournament especially om the defensive end. I was proud to see the boys express the issues they saw as well as solutions and then execute those solutions in a deliberate fashion. We still have room for improvement but I enjoyed seeing how far we have come."
The Warriors will participate in the Boo Williams Memorial Day Classic for their next tournament.
