
The Roanoke Rapids Youth Baseball Association Under 10 All-stars opened their 2017 Area Tournament Saturday in Henderson on a good note with two wins.
The Roanoke Rapids 10U Allstars won their opening game 11-5 against Laurinburg. After falling behind 0-4 early the guys battled back to tie the game 5-5 in the 6th inning. In the 7th inning the Roanoke rapids team outscored Laurinburg 6-0 and won 11-5.

The Roanoke Rapids 10U Allstars won their second game of the day 17-7 in 4 innings against Warren County. After falling behind 0-7 after the top of the 2nd inning, Roanoke Rapids out-scored Warren County 17-0 over the next 3 innings.
