The Roanoke Rapids Hornets JV and Varsity Halifax/Northampton Youth Football League teams are officially getting their season kicked off in the next 2 weeks.
Open Registration (for both JV and Varsity) will be begin tonight at Jaycees field (Ledgerwood ball park directly beside Allen field where they were last year) from 6 till 7 tonight - Thursday.
Please spread the word and encourage all your friends to come out and check us out, meet coaches and players, and decide if they wanna play.
Age ranges are a little different this year as follows: JV ages 7-9 Varsity 10-12 all ages determined by age as of July 1st 2017.
Registration will cost $40 per player. Meredith N Darrin Whitley will be JV contact and Jen Ott/ Carl Lynn will be Varsity Contact people.
This is short notice, but this isn't mandatory but will help get head counts etc.
This week the boys will simply be doing some basic conditioning (shorts, tennis shoes, etc are fine no contact this week).
Regular practices planned to begin next Monday.
