The Roanoke Rapids based travel girls softball team traveled to Kenly this past Saturday to play in the WFC Summers Heat Series tournament.
The Under 14 RV Powers team played one pool game against the Coastal cyclones and defeated them 5-2, Then defeated the Red Hotz 10-4 in first bracket game, Followed by defeating the Cape Fear Volunteers 12-8 sending the RV Powers team to Championship.
The Cape Fear Volunteers fought back to championship and we defeated them 6-5.
