Post game comments by head coach Craig Jean, "I am very pleased with our overall performance tonight. It's nice to have a team with a lot of experience that knows how to execute and rise to the challenge. It's great for the guys to get a win against a very tough Currrituck team at their place in the heat and humidity. It's a well earned win. I am very proud of the effort and execution tonight. We still have a few things to fix, but it was a big improvement in those areas from Saturday's jamboree to today. Performances like that should build our confidence and remind us of what we have been working so hard for at practice. Thomas had a great night with the shut out. We were good defensively, especially the back line. We also did a good job using the width of the field to swing the ball and help us keep possession. Carson finishing 4 was a definite boost for us. We also had creative plays leading up to his finishes. I thought Carson and Emerson worked well together up top. Honestly, all my guys played well and the effort was definitely there. We are getting better everyday and I like the direction we are headed."
