Roanoke Rapids head coach Craig Jean post match comments. Thomas Merritt had 5 saves in goal. "We showed how bad we can be and how good we can be in the same game. Our first 40 minutes were terrible. It seems like when things go wrong early, it leaves us rattled and rushes our judgement and makes us make poor decisions. The second half we came out and for about 20 minutes, put on a show. We swung the ball side to side, had give and goes down the edge, and great serves into the box that we finished beautifully. I give a lot of credit to Paul MacNichol for facilitating the quick swings and starting our attacks with 1 touch passes where the ball should go. We moved a few kids around tonight. Markus Chappell attacked efficiently on the wing. All our backs, especially Tyler Smith and Zach Carter, did a great job dealing with Kipp's #20 Roberts and #17 Hunt. Stopping them is not an easy task."
