The Roanoke Rapids High school Yellow Jackets Men's Soccer teams magical winning season continues Wednesday night.
The Roanoke Rapids high teams stung the Southern Vance 6-1.
The Jackets goals were scored by Carson Neal with 2, Anderson Castillo with 2, Logan Walton 1, Emerson Escobar 1.
Jackets goal were assisted by Emerson Escobar 3, Thomas Merritt, Chase Johnson, Cameron Wilson 1 each.
Thomas Merritt had 7 saves in goal and AJ Pearson had 4.
Post match comments by Jackets head coach Craig Jean, " We played pretty well tonight. We possessed the ball as good as I have seen all year. Thomas Merritt did a great job getting involved in possession, he probably had 25 plus touches with his feet and that opened up so much space. Anderson Castillo had his best game as a Jacket so far. He scored a couple of highlight reel worthy goals. I am pleased to finish the week off with the 3rd win. The entire 24 team members got a lot of work this week as well. We are on a great run that we are gonna look to keep going Monday at home vs South Granville"
