Weldon and Northampton make State playoffs

CHAPEL HILL -  The North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) finalized and released the playoff brackets for the 2017 Volleyball Championships.

Two Roanoke Valley schools (Weldon High and Northampton County High) made the 2017 NCHSAA Volleyball State Playoffs.

Play is scheduled to begin with games at the higher seed through the first five rounds beginning with first round contests on October 21^st. Second round is scheduled for October 24^th, the third round is slated for October 26^th, fourth round games are set for October 28^th and the Regional Finals are planned for October 31^st.
