Halifax Academy Cross Country competed in the CIC Championship Meets last Friday in New Bern.
The girls finished 3rd overall while the boys finished 6th. Morgan Hudomint Kate Starnes, and Whitney George led the girls.
Thomas Garrett, Jacob Harris, and Kris Carter paced the boys.
Morgan Hudomint and Thomas Garrett earned All-Conference honors. Morgan Hudomint and Kate Starnes earned Top 10 Championship Meet honors.
The Vikings had a good showing setting some personal records and finishing the conference season strongly.
They will compete in the State Championships today October 27th.
