Jackets Wrestler Antonio Lawrence Lost in the first round of the NCHSAA 2A State Wrestling Tournament.
Lawrence wrestled the number one seed from the Mid West Regions Dustin Barnhardt from Mt. Pleasant and lost 8-2.
Head coach DA White stated, "Lawrence wrestled well for a second year wrestler and will learn from this experience."
Friday, Lawrence will wrestle the number three seed from the Mid East Region Mikel Long from Wheatmore High school. Match time starts at 9:00 AM.
