
Marshal Garris Collier, 76, died February 28th, 2018, at his home with his wife, brother, and children by his side.
He was born May 31st, 1941, in Northampton County to Charlie E. Collier & Frances Garris Collier.
Marshal was a Harley Enthusiast and an avid pilot who loved working on anything with an engine, racing, spending time with his family and friends, and talking to his “Harley family.”
Marshal worked at the paper mill for 10 years.
With his love for racing along, with his parents, they started Collier Harley-Davidson in 1966. Marshal leaves a legacy of hard work, dedication, and a love for family and friends.
Marshal is survived by his wife (of 57 years), Durley Dean Medlin Collier; brother, Charles Ray Collier; Daughters, Cheryl Hedgepeth (Jerry), Jenger Adams (Zach), Marsha Collier (Michael Hearp); Son, Marshal “Mark” Garris Collier Jr.(Karen); Grandchildren, Brook McCabe (Chantel), Kelly Massey (Brian), Samantha Hearp, Sierra Hearp, Brandon Collier, Kaylee Collier, and Ashton Adams; Great-grandchildren, Brooke McCabe, Brayden McCabe, Collin Massey, Clayton Massey, and Corban Massey.
The family will receive friends and family at Collier Harley-Davidson on Sunday, March 4th, 2018, from 2-4 P.M. Wear your Harley or casual attire.
A private service will be held at a later date.
