Coach Mark Snead stated, "I am really pleased with the way we played both games tonight.  We had a great bounce back from our disappointing season opening loss.  The guys were up for both games and talkative.  We were really supporting each other and it showed in our play.  We had strong pitching, excellent defense, and timely hitting.  I really liked the way the guys practiced this week.  Now we have to continue to work hard  and get better each day."

With the wins, the Jackets improve to 2-1 overall and 2-0 in the Northern Carolina Conference.

The next game for the Yellow Jackets will be at conference foe Louisburg on Tuesday 3/13.
