The Roanoke Rapids High Lady Yellow Jackets soccer team hosted Southern Vance Wednesday night at Hoyle field.
The Lady Jackets won the match 10-1
Roanoke Rapids players with goals were: Catherine MacNichol with five, Elena Miller with two, Ella King with two and Laura Brown with one goal.
Lady Jackets with assist were: Catherine MacNichol 2, Morgan Davis, Brittany Milan and Ella King all with 1
Taylor Epps had 5 saves in goal and Ella King had 3 saves in goal.
Post match comments from Jackets head coach Craig Jean, "Our goal was to come out and be smart with our first touches and be accurate and crisp with our passes. For the most part we did a great job on that. At the same time we wanted to get the game over with to get out of miserable weather & also let us get ready for our first real test tomorrow at South Granville.
