The Halifax Academy Lady Vikings soccer team takes a tough lose at home against the defending NCISAA 1A State Champions by a score of 5-1.
"Our girls came out tonight and gave it a good effort but it wasn't enough against the talented and athletic team from Henderson" stated Vikings coach Tim George. "We didn't have our best game of the season, but the team from KVA definitely earned the victory" added George.
Halifax will face Kerr Vance Academy again this Thursday night in a rematch at Kerr Vance and try and turn the tables.
Abby George had the lone goal unassisted for the night.
