The Roanoke Rapids High School Lady Yellow Jackets soccer team traveled to Southern Vance Wednesday night and earned a 10-1 win with the match called with seventeen minutes remaining due to the 9 goal slaughter rule.
Three Lady Jackets earned "Hat Tricks" with Catherine MacNichol, Ella King and Elena Miller all scoring three goals each while Morgan Davis scored one goal for the Jackets.
Jackets with assist were Elena Miller with three, Catherine MacNichol with two, Taylor Epps, Ella King and Morgan Davis all with one assist.
Hannah Moseley had 12 saves in goal for the Lady Jackets.
Post match comments from Jackets head coach Craig Jean, "It was not our best effort in the first half but Hannah Moseley had some big saves for us in goal and we eventually got it together and put them away . We will play at home in a non-conference game vs Hertford County Thursday and then face South Granville to decide the conference champion Monday night."
