The Roanoke Rapids based RV Power 03 travel softball team traveled to the NC USSSA Spring Fling in Cary NC (Sat & Sun) to open their 2018 season.
RV Power 03 played in the High School division and finished 2nd in Red bracket,
RV Power 03 defeated North Wake Phanatics 14-0 and defeated Cleveland Angels (03) 6-2 in pool play on Saturday and were seeded number 1.
RV Power 03 lost Saturday night 8-7 in extra innings to All American Elite.
In Sunday action, RV Power 03 defeated Infinity Fastpitch 10-0, then defeated Lady Lightning (Hyatt) 7-6 in an extra inning, next they defeated All American Elite 12-2, but lost to NC Spark 8-5 in championship.
