Halifax Academy Lady Vikings soccer team loses a tough match to Rocky Mount Academy Friday.
The Lady Vikings rallied, but couldn't finish the job and dropped the game by a score of 4-3.
"The girls gave a great effort and really played well, especially in the second half when they scored all three goals," stated coach Tim George. "The defense played well, but RMA had some very good goals to put the game away,' George added.
For the Vikings, Whitney George scored 2 goals, Abby George netted one with an assist and Maddie Suiter contributed a pair of assists in the loss.
The team will recognize the seniors Thursday night during a Senior Night match up against Faith Christian in a home match at 5 pm.
