On Tuesday, May 15 the Pilot Club of Roanoke Valley, NC District Pilot, honored two Roanoke Rapids High School seniors with $1,000 scholarships.
Meagan Colston and Destiny Sexton were presented certificates and checks will be mailed to UNC-Wilmington for Meagan and Edgecombe Community College for Destiny.
The local Pilot Club is part of NC District Pilot and Pilot International. The seniors had family members present for the dinner and meeting and Deborah Marshall, Executive Director of the Pregnancy Support Center was the speaker.
