The annual Memorial Day service will be held at Cedarwood Cemetery Monday beginning at 10 a.m.
On Saturday beginning at 9 a.m. flags will be placed at the cemetery.
The itinerary for the Monday service calls for the following:
The call to order by Randy Ferguson, master of ceremonies
The posting of colors by the Roanoke Rapids High School JROTC
The opening prayer by Gary Harris
The pledge by scout troop 146
The national anthem by Ashley Harris
Welcoming remarks
Special music by Ashley Harris
Keynote speaker Keith Hutchins, a retired Navy lieutenant commander
