The Roanoke Rapids Lady Yellow Jackets hosted the NC School of Science and Math Thursday afternoon for the Jackets senior night to close the 2016-17 regular season.
Their was no JV match and the varsity Jackets fell in three sets, 25-22, 23-11 and 25-9.
RRHS seniors #22 Megan Shearin playing setter and #17 Kristy Price playing middle position played their last home volleyball match for RRHS.
Wednesday October 12th the JV and varsity Jackets traveled to Franklinton.
The JV Jackets closed out their season falling 1-2, losing the first set 25-22, won the second set 25-18 and fell the third set 25-13.
The varsity Jackets fell in three straight sets 25-14, 25-12 and 25-18.
The Varsity Lady Jackets travel to Bunn Monday October 17th to face Franklinton in the 2A Northern Carolina conference tournament.
