CHARLOTTE- Roanoke Rapids High 2010 graduate and current NFL defense/Special teams third year veteran for the Arizona Cardinals returned to the Bank of America stadium for the third time to take on the Carolina Panthers.
This year was the same outcome for Martin and his Cardinal teammates, a loss in the books (20-30 Carolina win) even though Martin had a great sack on Cam Newton for a 4 yard loss in the first quarter. Martin stated, "Kinda it felt great to get that sack, but when you don't get the win, you wipe all that away and go back and look at the film see what we can do to get better."
After the game on the field, Martin and former UNC teammate Carolina Panthers #3 Tre Boston exchanged jerseys.
Martin met with friends and fans after the game for some photos and autographs. With Arizona having a bye week next week and UNC having homecoming, Martin will travel back to North Carolina catch son UNC Tar Heel football.
