The Roanoke Rapids based Under 14 girls fast pitch softball travel team RV Power 04 traveled down to Rocky Mount for the USSSSA Summer Classic tournament.
The RV Power team opened pool play by winning one and losing one game, but moved through the bracket games undefeated and winning the championship game as well.
In bracket play, RV Power beat Carolina Shockwave 10-0, then beat Carolina Dirt Devils (03) by 8-2 and faced Carolina Shockwave for the championship beating them 15-3.
