An Enfield man is being sought after City County Drug Task Force agents found trafficking amounts of Oxycodone at his residence this morning.
Captain A.M. Harris said Jessie Lakeitha Archer, 38, typically stays within the Enfield community.
Harris said Archer typically sells pills and cocaine.
Agent D.W. McKeel obtained warrants for Archer’s arrest on charges of possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II; trafficking in opium; maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The warrants, Harris said, come after an investigation based on citizen complaints of drug activity in the Clanton Drive South area of Enfield.
The execution of the search warrant began around 6:30 a.m. with assistance from the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office Hazardous Entry and Arrest Team and Corporal P. Moyer and his dog, Bosco.
Agents seized 56 Oxycodone pills and several items of paraphernalia. The paraphernalia consisted of plastic baggies and a digital scale which tested positive for the presence of cocaine.
Harris said Archer is encouraged to surrender and anyone with information on his whereabouts is encouraged to call Crimestoppers at 252-583-4444 or Central Communications at 252-583-1991.
