
On Wednesday November 9th, Roanoke Rapids senior Colby Warren realized his dream and signed a National Letter of Intent to play college baseball next year at Barton College.
Warren has been a standout baseball player throughout his years at Roanoke Rapids High, Babe Ruth League and travel baseball and State game teams showcasing his talent.
Warren stated, "I love the game of baseball and can't wait to play at the next level. I am going to enjoy my senior year at RRHS and continue to work hard and get better so I am as ready as I can be when I get to Barton."
Coach Mark Snead stated, "I am so proud of Colby. He has worked hard for a long time to help reach his goal. He is a good ballplayer and great young man. Barton is getting a strong student-athlete. I am also happy for Colby's whole family. They are very supportive and have raised a fine young man. This is a great day for the Warren family."
