The Roanoke Middle School Athletic Association conference wrapped up it's 2016-17 football season with Chaloner crowned the RMSAA Football Champions.
The Chaloner Yellow Jackets had a perfect 7-0 regular season and won the semi-final playoff game against Gaston College Prep. The Championship game against #2 seed Weldon was canceled Wednesday due to rain and the season considered complete with Chaloner named Champions with a 8-0 perfect season.
