Valley Cheer starts their season with a bang!
On December 3rd 2016 Valley cheer traveled to Raleigh North Carolina to the Holiday Open Cheer LTD cheer competition held at the Raleigh Convention Center.
The Junior level 2 team consisting of 18 girls ages 7 years old-14 years old came home as Champions. "This team has worked hard over the last few years and coming home with a 1st place win was well deserved," stated Valley Cheer owner/coach Heather Merritt.
The senior level 3 team consisting of 14 girls ages 10-17 years old came home with a 4th place win. "This team hit a solid routine and we look forward to seeing them build on this experience for the season. Both teams gave us solid performances today. As a coach that is all you can ask for. Practice hard and put on a show at competition. The coaches are excited with the performances and outcome to a our first competition of the season. It was a great day spent with our Valley family," added Merritt.
