
Thirteen year old Ayden Woodall from Darlington traveled with his parents as his guest to Sunday's Carolina Panthers NFL game against the San Diego Chargers.
The trip wasn't just as to see the football game, Ayden who won the Roanoke Rapids Parks and Recreation Pepsi NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition back in September had unfinished business. Woodall advance to sectionals in Red Oak in October in the boys 12-13 year olds and after winning in Red Oak the four highest scores advanced to compete at the Panthers practice field today (Sunday) for the state title.
Woodall again earned the top spot in his age group winning the State boys 12-13 year olds Pepsi NFL Punt, Pass and Kick and received a football and jersey as his prize. Now he and his parents Wayne and Candace Woodall have to wait until December 20th to see if his score earns him one of the top four spots to compete in Orlando Florida on January 29, 2017 at the NFL Pro Bowl.
Ayden is a 8th grader at Halifax Academy.
