“Jerry” Aryman Gerald Miller, Jr., 75, of Roanoke Rapids, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016.
He was born in 1941 to the late Aryman Gerald Miller, Sr. and Mary Foster Miller. “Jerry” was preceded in death by his sister, Judith “Judy” Miller Vaughan.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Miller; his two step-daughters, Mary-Catherine Roberts of Roanoke Rapids, NC and Sarah-Elizabeth Roberts of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his step-son, Christopher Sanders and his wife Lacy of Roanoke Rapids, NC; his step-granddaughter, London Sanders; his brother-in-law, Otis “Nat” Vaughan of Weldon; his aunt, Dora Foster Gibbs of Holly Springs, NC; his two nieces, Donna V. Brennan of Elm City, NC, Traci V. Storey and her husband, Tra of Jackson, NC; his nephew, Michael Vaughan and his wife Stephanie of Courtland, VA; and his great-nieces, Amanda Brennan and Grace Storey and his great-nephews Franklin Brennan, Jr. and Eric Vaughan.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at the Southampton Memorial Park Cemetery in Franklin, Va., with Rev. Ben Duffey officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 1, 2017 from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M. at Askew Funeral & Cremation Services of Roanoke Rapids, NC.
