The Roanoke Rapids based RV Power 03 Under 14 girls fast pitch travel softball team traveled to Oxford NC the past weekend to play in the USA Softball NC's Bunn's Benefit Bash/Grand Slam Tour tournament.
In Saturday's Pool play the RV Power team defeated the Bomb Squad team 18-3 in game one. In Pool play game 2, the RV Power team defeated the Dark Side tem 12-0.
The RV Power girls 2-0 in pool play headed into bracket play Saturday afternoon where they defeated the Carolina Mash 5-1 and followed by defeating the Blue Ridge Sudden Impact 7-1.
On Sunday the girls picked up where they left off on a winning streak and defeated the Lady Slammers 8-2 moving to the Championship game undefeated. The RV Power team defeated the Double Play Fastpitch team 4-1 to earn the Championship title.
