Roanoke Rapids beat Louisburg 4-2.

Post match comments by Jackets head coach Craig Jean, "I am very glad to get a conference win tonight on the road at Louisburg. We did the majority of things the right way except finishing. The entire team's shots were off tonight. We out shot them 57-11 but only finished 4. This isn't the first time in my 10 years coaching here that we have had trouble finishing at Joyner Park. Still we were fun to watch at times. We didn't put them away in the 1st half, which put some unnecessary pressure on us in the 2nd half after they scored.
We had a lot of positive things tonight- the way we responded when they cut the lead to 1 showed our maturity and confidence. Emerson got a couple nice goals and I was really impressed with Cameron Wilson's header finish off of Billy Ricks' back post serve. Josh Miller and Anderson Castillo are really starting to come on. They both seem to be getting a lot more comfortable and confident. We continue to play the right way and did what it takes to get another win. We will now get ready for our home opener vs Webb."
