Coach Mark Snead stated, "A baseball season is full of ups and downs, and unfortunately tonight we had our worst outcome at the worst possible time. Our guys played hard and did the best they could, but we just came out on the wrong end of the score tonight. I told the team after the game to not let this one game define their season. We started the season as an inexperienced team, but the guys worked hard, and came together to get better and have a very successful season. I am proud of how this team grew throughout the year. I want to take this time to thank my seniors. Aaron Jackson, Peyton Jackson, Caleb Johnson, and Cameron Salmon really stepped up this year and were great leaders that helped this team develop into the strong club we became. It has been a pleasure to coach and watch them grow into great young men over these four years."
The Yellow Jackets finish the season with a record of 14-10.
