The Roanoke Valley Under 10 All-stars finished second d this past weekend in the 2018 Tarheel League District tournament in Currituck.
The girls started their first game off with a 10-5 win over Cashie.
The team regrouped and played hard to pull out a win against Edenton. With that win Roanoke Valley moved on to the Championship game.
In the championship game Roanoke Valley faced Perquimans once again. Roanoke Valley held Perquimans to 0 through the 4th inning, in the end Roanoke Valley fell a little short losing 7-6, taking 2nd place in District advancing to State Tournament in Shelby NC.
