The Halifax Academy Cross Country teams ran to first place team finishes today Thursday October 13th.
Jackson Harris led all runners with a 17:03 finish, finishing second and third were Larry West and Thomas Garrett, respectively. Also leading the Vikings were Jacob Harris, Will Cooke, Kris Carter, and Ted Fleming.
The girls were led by Whitney George, Kate Starnes, Abby George. Holly Forsht, and Brittany Milan.
Halifax Academy head Cross Country coach Wendy Starnes stated, "I am proud of the whole team and their efforts! They work well together and encourage one another. Some runners earned season records."
These victories close out the regular season conference competition for the Halifax Academy Vikings Cross Country teams.
